DreamWorks and "Back to the Future" producer Frank Marshall are developing horror-thriller "Cropsey," under his Kennedy/Marshall Co. banner.

The studio is in talks to acquire a pitch from Richard Naing and Ian Goldberg.

The duo will also write the screenplay, reported Variety.

The film will revolve around a group of adolescents, who visit a summer camp and end being haunted by an urban legend that dates back to the Colonial period.

The project will have a mixture of horror and humour.

Marshall, 68, has been a producer on the "Jurassic Park," "Indiana Jones," "Bourne" and "Back to the Future" franchises.
