A truck driver was killed on Sunday when the vehicle he was driving collided with another truck, police said.
Additional Superinetndent of Police Dayaram said that the accident took place around 4 am on Banda-Tanda highway.
"Following the collision, both trucks caught fire," said the additional SP.
The driver and cleaner of one truck managed to come out of the vehicle, while the driver of another truck, identified as Rajesh Singh, 55, could not escape as his legs got stuck in the vehicle, the police officer said.
He could not be retrieved and was charred to death, the additional SP said.
