A driver was killed today when a truck fell into a deep gorge in Doda district, police said.
The vehicle, which was on its way from Dhadkai to Gandoh, skidded off the road and fell into the gorge in Gandoh area of the district, they said, adding the driver died on the spot.
The deceased has been identified as Bipan Kumar, a resident of Bhadarwah area, station house officer Gandoh Tariq Hussain Naik said.
A case has been registered in this regard and investigation is underway, he said.
