A court here today sentenced an auto driver to seven years rigorous imprisonment after finding him guilty of kidnap and sexual abuse of a visually-challenged woman.

Judge, Mahila Court, Meena Satish, convicted the 46-year- old auto driver Anbu Selvam for kidnap and sexual abuse of the 24-year old visually challenged woman and sentenced him to undergo seven years of rigorous imprisonment.

On March 21, 2010, the woman, a native of Vellore district, had come to Chennai to train in music.
