Vipin Kumar, 25, was apprehended based on a complaint filed by one P D Gupta that his driver had stolen Rs 5 lakh from him.
Acting on sepcific information, police raided Madhuban Chowk in north-west Delhi and arrested Vipin Kumar last wee.
"A bag containing certain documents and Rs. 4.80 lakh were recovered from his possession. During interrogation, Vipin Kumar said he had stolen the money to fulfill his desire to live comfortably," a senior police official said.
