A driver and his navigator who were participating in 'Raid De Himalaya' international car rally were injured when the vehicle they were driving skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge near here today.
Both the injured participants were shifted to Sub-District Hospital, Bhaderwah by the rescue team and police from where they were air-lifted to Chandigarh, a police officer said.
"One of the participating drivers in the car rally, Samrat Yadav of Chandigarh and his navigator Gaurav Angra of Bilaspur Punjab were injured in accident at Mush-Dev Nullah on Bhaderwah - Chamba road" he said.
The nine-day 'Raid De Himalaya' car rally started on October 9 from Shimla and will end on October 17 on the banks famous Dal Lake in Srinagar.
