A man was arrested on charges of drug peddling near Wazidowal village here, police said today.
Gurnek Singh, a resident of Nawanshahar district's Talwandi Jattan village, was arrested during a checking drive last night, police said, adding 35 grams of heroin was seized from him.
The arrest was made under relevant Sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS)Act, police said.
