A 34-year-old man was arrested here allegedly with 1.5 kg heroin worth around Rs 1.5 crore, police said today.
Acting on a tip-off, Om Prakash was apprehended from near Moti Nagar metro station yesterday when he came to the locality to deliver a consignment of heroin to someone, Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime) Ravindra Yadav said.
"His father started selling illicit liquor due to poor income. He too joined his father in bootlegging and was arrested earlier. He started sale and supply of heroin since 2002. After his marriage, he left drug trafficking and started mobile phone repairing but again switched to drug trafficking in 2009, after the death of his wife.

"The Prakash's younger brother Yogesh is also allegedly into drug trafficking and was arrested earlier," Yadav said.
He claimed Prakash used to procure heroin from one Mohan of Neemach.
