Drug racket busted in Punjab, three held

The police today arrested three Nepalese nationals from the inter-state bus terminal here and seized 14 kg of charas estimated to be over Rs one crore in international market.

The seizure was made early this morning during a routine checking at the bus terminal, officials said.

The three arrested persons were identified as Raju (18), Jog Bahadur (27) and Chij Bahadur (30).

According to preliminary investigations, the three were paid Rs 10,000 each by another Nepalese national for delivering the consignment to various tourist destinations of Himachal Pradesh, they said.
