A Nepal resident, alleged to be an international drug trafficker, has been arrested and nine kg of charas worth Rs two crore in the international market has been recovered from him, police said today.
Acting on tip off, Delhi Police Crime branch sleuths that a drug trafficker would come at Rohini Sector-16 to deliver a consignment. A trap was laid and the suspect was apprehended yesterday, they said.
"He was identified as Kuber Singh Budha (32), a resident of Nepal and presently residing in Burari. A case under the appropriate sections of the NDPS Act was registered at PS Crime Branch," said Ashok Chand, Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime).

"There he came in contact with local drug traffickers and started working for them. He supplied charas from Manali to the drug peddlers in Delhi. In 2012 he shifted to Delhi and started residing at Wazirabad, Burari," police said.
He procured charas from drug traffickers in Nepal and supplied it to the drug peddlers in Burari and Majnu Ka Tilla areas.
Further investigation was on, police said.
