"Sajahan Sk (62) was killed when his son-in-law Saifuddin Sk punched on his chest. The old man opposed to Saifuddin's beating his wife in a drunken state," Superintendent of Police Syed Mohammed Hossain Mirza said.
Saifuddin later absconded from the spot after the incident, the police said.
