Dry weather conditions prevailed at isolated places in western parts of Uttar Pradesh while day temperature fell in Varanasi and Lucknow divisions.
According to the MeT office, temperatures were above normal in Agra, Allahabad, Kanpur Jhansi and Meerut.
Banda was the hottest place in the state recording a maximum temperature of 46 degrees Celsius.
The weatherman has forecast rain or thundershowers at isolated places in eastern and western parts of the state till tomorrow.
