Dry weather conditions prevail in Pb, Haryana

Dry weather conditions today prevailed in Punjab and Haryana as maximum temperatures stayed above normal level in several parts of the two state.

According to MeT office, Ludhiana in Punjab recorded maximum temperature at 33.9 degrees Celsius, one notch above normal while Amritsar and Patiala recorded maximum at 34.4 degrees C and 33.3 degrees C respectively.

Union Territory Chandigarh recorded the maximum temperature at 33.5 degrees C even as light showers lashed a few parts of the city.

Hisar in Haryana was the hottest place in the region with maximum at 38.7 degrees C, up by four degrees above normal while Ambala and Narnaul had high of 33.4 degrees C and 35 degrees C.
 

MeT office, in a forecast, said dry weather conditions may remain in Punjab and Haryana during next 24 hours.
