Dry weather conditions prevailed in Uttar Pradesh today, with Banda recording the highest temperature of 44.8 degrees Celsius in the state.
Varanasi and Basti also sizzled at 43.5 degree C, MeT department said, adding Etawah recorded a high of 43 Degree Celcius.
The state capital recorded 42.1 degrees C, which was three notches above normal.
The dry weather will continue, the MeT office said.
