Weather remained dry in Uttar Pradesh on Thursday with shallow fog at some places in the state, the Meteorological Department said.
According to the Met office, the highest maximum temperature of 25 degrees Celsius was recorded in Allahabad while Basti was the coldest at 8 degrees Celsius.
The weather department has forecast rain at a few places over the eastern part of the state on Friday.
