While taking action against the duo, the Delhi Transport Corporation has banned playing of music on board its buses by drivers and conductors. The ban would be applicable to buses under cluster service also.

Officials said a woman travelling on a bus plying between Rohini and New Delhi Railway station had complained to the authorities that the driver and conductor of the vehicle refused to stop the music despite her repeated requests.

They said the passenger had requested the duo to stop the playing the song as she felt the content of the song was indecent too.

Not taking her request seriously, the driver and the conductor even forced her to leave the bus before her destination, the officials said.

After receiving the complaint over phone, an immediate inquiry was conducted, following which the driver and conductor were placed under suspension, officials said.

They said that after knowing about the incident, Transport Minister Ramakant Goswami told DTC to ban playing of music in the buses.
