The number of applicants who registered online for admission to undergraduate courses of Delhi University swelled to over 80,000 on the second day of application process.
"The total number of applicants who registered online till 5.30 PM today is 81,055, of which 30,829 have made payments," said Malay Neerav, Joint Dean of Student Welfare.
The online registration had begun yesterday with 37,850 applications registering on the very first day.

The Centralised Optical Mark Recognition (OMR)forms are available on Delhi University's website - www.Du.Ac.In - and students will have to make the payment through internet banking.
The fee for General category students is Rs 100 whereas for SC/ST students the admission form will cost Rs 50.
A total of 54,000 seats in various undergraduate programmes are up for grab. The last date for online registration is June 15 while sale and submission of offline forms will start at nine registration centres (colleges) from June 5. The offline registration will conclude on June 15.
The nine registration centres where offline forms will be accepted are Atma Ram Sanatan Dharm College, Dyal Singh College, Gargi College, Maharaja Agrasen College, PG DAV College, Rajdhani College, Shyam Singh College, Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce, and SGTB Khalsa College.
The first cut-off list will be released by DU on June 25. There will be a total of seven cut-off announcements. Further cut-off announcements will be made depending on availability of seats, university officials said.
