The Governing Body of Delhi University's Swami Shradhanand college today instituted an enquiry against the former principal following allegations against him including that of sexual harassment and financial misappropriation.
"The GB in its meeting held today formed a three-member Inquiry Committee to look into the complaints against Dr Praveen Garg, which include financial misappropriation, removal and appointments of ad-hocs without following norms, appointing probationers as teacher-in-charges against rules to influence admissions and appointments, among others," an official statement said.
The GB ordered that an Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) be set up to probe the sexual harassment allegations against Garg raised by a colleague.
