The Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry today said it plans to open its first Indian office in Mumbai later this year.
Senior officials from the chamber led by Chairman Majid Saif Al Ghurair and UAE Ambassador Ahmed Al Banna met Chief Minister of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis to discuss ways to strengthen business and partnerships between Dubai and Mumbai.
"We see a host of opportunities for business synergies between Dubai and Mumbai...We will be encouraging Dubai companies to open up business in Mumbai," the Chamber's Chairman Ghurair said in a statement.

Free coaching for SC, OBC candidates for banking, SSC courses * Test Preparation Organisation Career Power will provide free coaching classes to SC and OBC candidates for banking and SSC courses.
Career Power has signed Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment to this effect.
The candidates who are enrolled under this scheme, will be provided everything including classes, books, test series, magazine free of cost. Other than coaching, candidates will also be provided monthly stipend against the expenses incurred in travelling and accommodation.
