Italian superbike maker Ducati today launched its Multistrada 1260 Pikes Peak edition in India priced at Rs 21.42 lakh (ex-showroom).
Only a limited numbers of the model will be available in India, Ducati India said in a statement.
Developed on the technical foundations of the Multistrada 1260 S, the Pikes Peak version is powered by a 1,262 cc Euro 4 compliant engine on a new chassis, which includes a new front end geometry and a longer swingarm, it added.
Ducati India Managing Director Sergi Canovas said the launch of the Multistrada 1260 Pikes Peak edition is in line with the company's commitment of bring the most desirable products available to Indian riders.
"Our dealers will start taking bookings today onwards will deliveries beginning soon," Canovas added.
