Josh Duggar has cancelled an upcoming appearance amid his child molestation scandal.
The "19 Kids and Counting" star was expected to speak at a home schooling convention in Ohio, reported Us magazine.
The father of three, 27, informed organizers that his presence would cause too much of a distraction. The event planners, in turn, commended him and his TLC reality family for how they handled the matter.
Since addressing the issue, Duggar left his Washington, DC- based position at the Family Research Council, and TLC pulled "19 Kids and Counting" off the air.
In addition, it was revealed this week that Arkansas police destroyed the records that allegedly detailed Duggar's past behavior.
