Dumont ice cream to launch 200 outlets in 3 years

:Dumont, a popular premium ice cream brandis looking to launch 200 stores in the next three years under franchise and owned model in all southern states and Maharashtra, a press release from the company said Thursday.

"Dumont retailing will be combination of own outlets and franchised outlets. Initially we started with 20 outlets and will expand to 100 outlets within a year. By end of the third year we expect to reach 200 outlets," Dumont, managing director, Vivek Inampudi said.

With an installed capacity to produce 1,900 litres ice cream per hour, Dumont's manufacturing facility at Vijayawadahas the flexibility to expand and scale up its production to met high demands,he said.

 

The ice cream maker has also plans to set up a manufacturing facility here with an investment outlay of Rs 15 crore in the next two years.

Dumont has a well organised logistics system with 25 cold storage vehicles to reach the product intact to markets across various cities in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka,he added.
