Dumper set on fire by ultras

Ultras of a Maoist splinter group set fire to a dumper at Patratu in Ramgarh district, the police said here today.

Superintendent of Police Ranjit Kumar Prasad said the extremists of the Jharkhand Jan Sangharsh Mukti Morcha set ablaze the dumper last night.

They had demanded extortion from a private company engaged in coal lifting from Piparwar project to Patratu railway siding, he added.
