Authorities of the Duncans Industries Limited have started distributing wages to workers at the company's Bagrakot tea garden in North Bengal this morning, a CID official said.
"We have heard that the company has started distribution of salaries to workers at Bagrakot tea garden from this morning... But, we are not concerned with it because that has nothing to do with our investigation," a top CID officer told PTI.
The company was scheduled to distribute the outstanding payments from today, he said adding, the arrears would be distributed later on.
