The district police are looking for two persons who allegedly duped several youths to the tune of around Rs 19.06 lakh.
Inspector Prakash Birajdar of Manickpur police station said that one of the culprits posed as an Income Tax Commissioner and claimed that he could secure jobs in the Income Tax Department.
In the last two-three years, the duo collected in total Rs 19.06 from gullible youths, promising them jobs which never materialised.
A case of cheating has been registered.
