The Delhi University Teachers' Association on Friday decided to continue its strike for one more week to demand absorption of ad-hoc teachers.

DU teachers have been camping outside the vice-chancellor office in the cold to press for their demand.

In a meeting on Friday, it was decided that the strike will continue and the movement will be strengthened.

The DUTA has planned for a Khaal Thaali Rally from Ferozeshah Kotla Stadium to the UGC on Dec 18 along with other events during the week.

The teachers have boycotted invigilation duties and other official duties in protest.
