E-learning services for remote rural areas

Sahaj e-Siksha Partner, a prepaid franchisee model offering e-learning services in the remotest corners of India, will be rolled out in 25 centres across the country.

The initiative will offer e-learning services across rural and semi-urban segments, a press release said today.

Sahaj e-Siksha Partner offers 45 courses, which will be customised for rural groups.

The courses include basic computer education, bridging courses for graduation, courses in soft skill development, distance MBA and many more.

Sahaj will partner with infrastructure-ready institutions such as schools, NGOs for this new e-learning programme.

It has tied up with a few reputed e-learning portals and Sahaj partners will have the option to offer relevant courses from these portals as well, the release said.
 

The first Sahaj e-Siksha Partner centre was inaugurated recently at Baruipur, in South 24 Parganas district of West Bengal.
