E-Office commissioned in Finance Department

The e-office was introduced to make file movement more transparent

As part of plan to make "Paperless office" in the secretariat, E-Office system was commissioned at the Finance Department here today.

On an experimental basis, E-Office started functioning at the Finance Minister K M Mani's office. The e-office was introduced to make file movement more transparent, an official release said here.

Finance Minister K M Mani inaugurated e-office system and closed 1,000 files related to Finance, Law and Housing by putting e-signature.
