A documentary about American rock band Eagles of Death Metal album has been pulled from the International Documentary Film Festival in Amsterdam.

More than 130 people were killed as gunmen, on November 13, targeted several sites in Paris, including the Bataclan music venue, where the Eagles of Death Metal were playing.

The documentary "The Redemption Of The Devil", made by director Alex Hoffman, follows the band's frontman Jesse Hughes as he hits 40, becomes ordained as a Catholic minister and ponders a future in politics, reported Digital Spy.

The festival runs from November 18-29.

The band issued its first statement since the attack on Nov 19 and confirmed all their shows have been put on hold until further notice.

The musicians, who ran for their lives as gunmen stormed their concert, insisted they were "bonded in grief with the victims, the fans and all those affected by terrorism".
