Cold conditions returned to Dehradun and adjoining areas today as showers coupled with strong winds swept the city early this morning.
Residents awoke to the mixed sound of thunders and rain even as several places on the outskirts of the city were lashed by hails reviving cold conditions which had appeared to be on their way out for the last few days.
Hails at this time of the year may be damaging to the blossoms put forth by mango and litchi trees.
