The Aussie will design the modules for different age groups for the East Bengal Football School of Excellence (EBFSE), it was announced here today.

Twice been shortlisted by the All India Football Federation for the post of the national coach in the last decade, Alagic will be assisted by former EB internationals with the likes of Bikash Panji and Tushar Rakshit.

"I would stress on proper scouting and infrastructure to select the best talents for future," Alagic said.

Though East Bengal is yet to have its own academy for its junior and youth teams, the non-residential EBFSE will use the club's infrastructure for the activities.

The training will be held thrice a week in the age groups of 9-12, 13-15, 16-18 for both boys and girls.
