The Anganwadi centers would also function as 'hubs' for overall development of children from poor families.
"Our government is committed to overall development of the children. We have involved NGOs to improve services at the Anganwadi centres," Dikshit said.
The centres would provide services like immunisation, health check up, supplementary nutrition to children below six years of age and pre school learning.
The new centres have been commissioned at Kabool Nagar Shahdra, Geeta Colony, Karawal Nagar, Khichripur, Ghonda, Sonia Vihar, Panchal Nagar, and Mandoli.
