The birth and death certificates of residents of east Delhi will be available online within 10 days from the event, EDMC's newly-elected standing committee chairman Jitendra Choudhary today said.

Choudhary and Mahendra Ahuja, both BJP councilors, were today elected as chairman and deputy chairman of the EDMC's panel.

"The birth and death certificate would be available online in 10 days from the taking place of the event in east Delhi," Choudhary told reporters.

The move will not only impart transparency in corporation's working but also facilitate the residents, he said.
