EbixCash, the financial exchange unit of Ebix Inc, Monday said it has acquired Business Travels as part of its plans to expand its Via Travel business.
The company has decided to further invest in the growth of its B2B business under the leadership of Praveen Chugh, the owner of Business Travels, who has immediately taken over as chief operating officer, agency sales, Via, a release said.
Ebix Inc is an international supplier of on-demand software and e-commerce services to the insurance, financial, healthcare and e-learning industries.

Startup accelerator Zone Startups India, which organises 'The Next BIG Idea' contest for technology startups from India to tap into the North American market, Monday said it has selected 13 new company to travel to Canada.
Through the programme, the contest winners get to validate their business model, get access to local mentors, corporates, investors and government representatives in Canada, a statement said.

This year, the 13 startups were chosen from a pool of over 1,100 applications and have also have been chosen for the Indo-Canada bilateral entrepreneurship exchange programme and the winners will travel to Canada in November for the two-week market access programme, it added.

Electronic payment and banking solutions provider ACI Worldwide Monday said Utkarsh Small Finance Bank (USFB) has migrated to its latest version of retail payments solution.
The transition was achieved through ACI's strategic partnership AGS Transact Technologies, an end-to-end payment solutions providers in the country, it said in a release.
ACI's next generation payments solution, UP Retail Payments solution, enables institutions to acquire, authenticate and authorise, route and protect card and digital payments from multiple channels, it added.

Bayer group Monday said it has launched Aqua K-Othrine, the country's first water-based space spray insecticide for mosquito management.
Aqua K-Othrine is pre-qualified by the World Health Organisation (WHO) for use in vector control operations, the company said in a statement.
The product can be used in thermal fogging machines, ultra-low volume sprayers and cold fogger machines against flying insect pests, it said, adding one litre is enough to provide coverage of 20-40 hectares.
