Sampath and Election Commissioners (ECs) H S Brahma and Syed Nasim Ahmed Zaidi would arrive here on January 4, the sources said.
During the visit the CEC and the ECs would hold meeting with the state Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), District Electoral Officers and Returning Officers, they said.
The final voters list of the state would be published on January 12 next.
Meanwhile, a team of eight Observers of the Election Commission of India arrived here today to review the revision of the voters list.
Earlier the opposition Congress had complained to the ECI alleging that the voters list in the state was manipulated under the influence of the ruling CPI(M).
The Congress had deposited two lakh complaints to the ECI and demanded that an error free voters list be prepared.
