ED freezes Koda's bank accounts in Jharkhand

Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Madhu Koda's bank accounts amounting to about Rs 27 lakh were today frozen by the Enforcement Directorate.

"The accounts are with different banks like SBI and other banks in Jharkhand," a senior ED official said.

Koda, who is facing corruption charges with the CBI/ED/IT investigating the cases, is contesting from Majhgaon assembly constituency.

The elections to Majhgaon assembly seat are scheduled on December 2.
