Singer Conor Maynard has defended Ed Sheeran as a worthy Glastonbury headliner.
The "Shape of You" hitmaker was announced to be closing this year's event on June 25 to a mixed reception, but Conor thinks he's the right man for the job as he could top the bill at any festival in the whole world, reported Contactmusic.
Asked if it was right for Sheeran to headline Glastonbury, Conor says, "I think so, how many times did he sell out Wembley Stadium? Like three times. He can headline any festival in the whole world.
"He could do his own festival, the Ed Sheeran Festival, that should be the next move for Ed Sheeran.
