Edelweiss Tokio Life Insurance today launched Smart Lifestyle, a non-linked participating endowment plan aimed at fulfilling multiple needs.
Smart Lifestyle is designed to provide flexibility which suits the policyholders' cash flows and requirements in terms of multiple policy terms and premium payment options, the private insurer said in a release issued here.
"We understand that our customers are financially savvy and while they recognise the need for life insurance, they also want to accumulate wealth in the process and lead an unburdened lifestyle.

DishTV partners with Flipkart to offer DTH connection
DTH operator DishTV has tied up with e-commerce major Flipkart to offer DTH connection on the latter's platform.
"Through this move, we aim to integrate and connect the tech-savvy consumers to the best in-class entertainment services on a platform which is dynamic and progressive.
"We look forward to this association with Flipkart and hope to strengthen our dominance in the digital space and enhance customer experience and product offerings," DishTV India Senior Vice President- Marketing Sukhpreet Singh said.
Commenting on the collaboration, Flipkart Senior Director - Electronics - Hari Kumar said, "Out of the total cable and satellite base of 169 million, non-digitised households contribute to 47 million. So, there is a huge opportunity with the existing customer base itself.
"With the TV installation base expected to double over the next 5 years, we see a significant upside in making DTH services available at the customers' doorstep.
