Elsewhere, castorseed bold and castoroil commercial also surged due to rising demand from shippers and soap industries.
Meanwhile, groundnut oil and linseed oil maintained stable trend in the absence of any worthwhile buying activity.
Moving to edible segment, refined palmolein rose by Rs 3 per 10kg to Rs 538 from Saturday's closing level of Rs 535 and groundnut oil closed unchanged at Rs 1,370 per 10 kg.
In the non-edible segment, Castorseeds bold moved up by Rs 10 per 100 kg to Rs 3,475 from last weekends level Rs 3,465 and castoroil commercial edged up by Rs 2 per 10kg to 725 as compared to Rs 723.
Linseedoil unaltered at Rs 1,150 per 10 kg.
