Refined palmolein slipped at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today on subdued demand from retailers.
Elsewhere, castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial also fell owing to sluggish demand from soaps and shippers industries.
Linseeds oil dropped further owing to lower demand from paint and allied industries.
While, groundnut oil ruled steady in absence of any worthwhile buying.
In the edible segment, refined palmolein edged down by Rs 4 per 10 kg to Rs 571 from Wednesday's close of Rs 575 and groundnut oil closed unchanged at Rs 860 per 10 kg.
Moving to non-edible section, castorseeds bold dipped by Rs 75 per 100 kg to Rs 4,750 from Rs 4825 yesterday and castoroil commercial declined by Rs 15 per 10 kg to Rs 980 as against Rs 995.
Linseeds oil also eased by Rs 20 per 10 kg to Rs 730 as compared to Rs 750.
