Groundnut oil prices declined further at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today due to reduced demand from stockists and retailers.

Refined palmolein also moved down on lack of retail buying support.

In the non-edibles, castorseed bold and castor oil commercial fell following subdued demand from shippers and soap manufacturers.

Meanwhile, linseed oil maintained a stable trend in the absence of any worthwhile buying activity.

In the edible section, groundnut oil fell by Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 785 from Monday's closing level of Rs 790 and refined palmolein eased by Rs 3 per 10 kg to Rs 567 from Rs 570.

Moving to non-edible segment, castorseeds bold dipped by Rs 25 per 100 kg to Rs 4,150 from Rs 4,175 and castor oil commercial went down by Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 860 as against Rs 865 yesterday. Linseeds closed unchanged at Rs 745 per 10 kg.
