Edible, non-edible oils recover on fresh demand

Groundnut oil recovered at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today due to fresh demand from stockists and retailers.

Refined palmolein also regained on retail buying support.

In the non-edible section, castorseeds bold and castor oil commercial also reclaimed owing to good offtake from shippers and soap industries.

Linseed oil also rebounded following renewed demand from paint and allied industries.

In the edible section, groundnut oil rose by Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 925 from Thursday's closing level of Rs 920 and refined palmolein moved up by Rs 7 per 10 kg to Rs 527 as against Rs 520 previously.
 

Among non-edibles, castorseeds bold climbed by Rs 25 per 100 kg to Rs 2,975 from previous close of Rs 2,950 and castor oil commercial edged up by Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 625 from 620.

Linseed oil gained by Rs 20 per 10 kg to Rs 860 as compared to Rs 840 yesterday.
