In the non-edible segment, castorseeds bold and castor oil commercial advanced further owing to firm demand from shippers and soap manufacturers.
Meanwhile, linseed oil eased further due to lack of demand from paint and allied industries.
In futures, castorseeds shot up on heavy speculative demand amid higher export enquiries.
In the edible segment, Groundnut oil fell by Rs 20 per 10 kg to Rs 1,040 from Wednesday's closing level of Rs 1,060. Refined palmolein went down by Rs 5 per 10kg to Rs 547 from Rs 554 previously.
Turning to non-edible segment, Castorseeds bold climbed by Rs 25 per 100 kg to Rs 3,575 from Rs 3,550 and castoroil commercial also gained by Rs 5 per 10kg to Rs 745 from 740. However, linseed oil slipped by Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 800 as compared to Rs 805 yesterday.
Moving to futures, castorseed December contract resumed higher at Rs 3,850 and surged further to close at Rs 3,947 as compared to Rs 3,840 previously, showing a net gain of Rs 107 per tonne.
