Groundnut oil prices fell further in an otherwise sluggish Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today on weak demand from stockists and retailers amid good arrivals from producing belts.
Refined palomlein also edged down owing to lower retail offtake.
Castor seeds bold, castor oil commercial and linseed oil ruled steady in the absence of any large scale buying.
In edible segment, groundnut oil moved down by Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 925 from Thursday's closing level of Rs 925.
Refined palmolein also softened by a Re per 10 kg to Rs 532 from Rs 533.
Castor seeds bold, castor oil commercial and linseed oil all closed unchanged at Rs 4,415 per 100 kg, Rs 913 per 10 kg and 780 per 10 kg respectively.
