Groundnut oil prices gained further at the Vashi oils and oil seeds wholesale market here today following sustained demand from stockists and retailers.
Refined palmolein rebounded modestly following renewed offtake from retailers.
In non-edible segments, Castor seeds bold, castor oil commercial and linseed oil ruled steady in the absence of any large-scale buying activity.
In the edible segment, groundnut oil climbed by Rs 10 per 10kg to Rs 940 from Thursday's closing level of Rs 930 and refined palmolein moved up by Rs 2 per 10kg to Rs 532 from Rs 530.
Moving to non-edible section, castorseed bold, castor oil commercial and linseed oil ended unaltered at Rs 4,650, Rs 960 and Rs 750 per 10 kg, respectively.
