Groundnut oil and refined palmolein gained at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today due to good demand from stockists and retailers.
Meanwhile, castorseeds bold, castoroil commercial and linseed oil ruled steady in absence of any worthwhile buying activity.
In the edible segment, groundnut oil rose by Rs 20 per 10 kg to Rs 1,380 from Wednesday's closing level of Rs 1,360 and Refined palmolein edged up by Rs 2 per 10 kg to Rs 562 as against Rs 560 yesterday.
Moving to non-edible section, castorseeds bold, castor oil commercial and linseed oil all closed unaltered at Rs 3,625 per 100 kg, Rs 755 and Rs 1,150 per 10 kg, respectively.
