Groundnut oil and refined palmolein strengthened at the oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today following heavy buying from stockists and retailers amid restricted arrivals from producing regions.
While, castorseed bold, castoroil commercial and linseed oil held steady in the absence of any other worthwhile buying.
In edible segment, groundnut oil gained by Rs 10 per 10 kg to Rs 1,160 from Thursday's close at Rs 1,150 and refined palmolein slightly moved up by a Re per kg to Rs 604.
Moving to non-edible section, castorseeds bold, castoroil commercial and linseed oil closed unchanged at Rs 3,250 per 100 kg, Rs 680 per 10 kg and Rs 890 per 10 kg, respectively.
