Groundnut oil recovered smartly at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today due to renewed demand from stockists and retailers.
Refined palmolein also rebounded on fresh retail buying support.
In the non-edible section, castorseeds bold and castor oil commercial and linseed oil ruled stable in the absence of any worthwhile buying activity.
The castorseeds futures rate were unavailable.
In the edible segment, Groundnutoil shot-up by Rs 10 per 10kg to Rs 760 from Monday's closing level of Rs 750 and refined palmolein moved-up by Rs 2 per 10kg to Rs 574 as against Rs 572 yesterday.
Moving to non-edible section, castorseeds bold, castor oil commercial and Linseed oil closed unchanged at Rs 3,925 per 100kg, Rs 815 and Rs 840 per 10kg, respectively.
