An assistant project coordinator posted at the elementary education office here was today arrested for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs. 2,000.
The accused Radharaman Sharma had allegedly demanded the bribe from a private school owner for upgrading the school from primary level to middle level, Additional SP ACB Chiranji Lal Meena said.
Sharma had initially demanded Rs 15,000 but it was settled for Rs 12,000. A trap was laid and he was arrested while taking Rs 2,000 as he had already taken Rs 9,500, Meena added.
