Two education officials have been booked for allegedly committing forgery to provide employment to a woman.
The FIR has been registered against Basic Shiksha Adhikari (primary education officials) M A Ansari and Rehana Khatoon on the directions of a local court, Superintendent of Police, S Channapa said.
One Diwakar Upadhyay had approached court of Chief Judicial Magistrate alleging that Ansari had connived with Khatoon to give the woman a job in the education department with the help of fake documents, the officer said.
Following court orders, the police registered an FIR at Khukhundu police station against the two, the SP said.
